We wished to recreate a restaurant founded by the Fahn-dynasty at the turn of the century, preserving the traditions of the Óbuda district and combining it with a culinary travel in time. We invoke the spirit of turn of the century Óbuda, albeit only with the help of pictures. The music performed by the Liszt Prize winner violinist Sándor Déki-Lakatos Sr. and Sándor Déki-Lakatos Jr. along with their band also contribute significantly to preserving the atmosphere. László Bárdos plays chansons and old dance music to add to the feeling of nostalgia. Our newly opening restaurant looks forward to receiving our guests in a modern environment.

Beside Hungarian gastronomy, we also offer richly seasoned fish dishes for those looking to eat well. We are in the heart of Óbuda, ready to cater for all needs. If it’s only for a short afternoon visit, we suggest our cafe, where we serve excellent coffee and you can watch live sports on television. Beside our colourful menu, gastronomy fans will also get a glimpse into our live gypsy music evenings and folk dance shows. In summer, the same programs will be organized on an open air stage in our garden. We also organize thematic jazz evenings. Our restaurant is pet friendly; you are welcome to bring your favourites along.
